We sing traditional blues tunes, such as “Key to the Highway”, “Sweet Home Chicago”, “Stormy Monday”, and “Nobody Knows You When You’re Down and Out”. We’ll do some Jimmy Buffett and Kenny Chesney for the beach crowd, and standards from the 60’s, like “Mustang Sally”, Fire and Rain”, and “Can’t Find My Way Home”.
Our song selections, styles, and tempos, will keep your feet tapping!
The air is fresh, the environment is invigorating, and the tunes are supremely sweet!
Much of our music was originally composed in the 1920’s, 30’s, and 40’s. This music was reintroduced to the world by artists such as Jorma Kaukonen (of Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna fame), David Bromberg, Eric Clapton, and Taj Mahal, to name a few. And these are the artists that I have been most influenced by. We play all “live” acoustic music, and do not use loopers or backtracks. We want our “old school” style of music to be “easy on the ears”, and to be all about the songs and the lyrics.
We play the Vero Beach, Melbourne, and Cocoa Beach areas, and play clubs, restaurants, bars, and private parties. We are not a dance band.
